Jointly responsible for delivering numerous interrelated projects under the CDOP to upgrade, maintain and implement new offence detection camera technology at multiple sites across Queensland in a multi‐disciplinary programme of work.
Project scope typically includes design, construction, and information and communication technology (ICT) work packages with multiple dependencies and inter‐agency and cross agency stakeholder management. We are seeking experienced and dynamic Program Manager to oversee, direct and coordinate projects and work packages for the CDOP. The role will be responsible for: -
leading and managing the prioritisation, planning and delivery of the program within an agreed framework and existing governance models. This includes defining, scoping, planning, budgeting, scheduling, monitoring and managing the delivery of the program end‐to‐end;
-Creating accountable, high performing and engaged project teams operating across inter agency and cross‐agency boundaries, including coaching and mentoring project managers and their teams
-Planning and managing budgets appropriate to assigned projects
-Managing risks and challenges including implementing proactive risk management practices to ensure project success
-Working closely with resource managers to allocate resources effectively from all stakeholder groups to effectively deliver across the disciplines of design, construction and ICT and optimise resource utilisation to meet timeframes and budget
-Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
-Effectively communicating strategies, progress, challenges and solutions to form a unified vision and understanding of the program
-Generating regular reports on project status and maintaining comprehensive project documentation for future reference and auditing purposes
