CS Energy are seeking a dynamic and experience Program Manager to lead the successful planning and execution of sustaining capital projects across the organisation. As a key member of the Project leadership team, the Program Manager will utilise program management expertise in areas such as resource management, contracting strategy and schedule management ensuring that each of the project leads have the necessary tools skills and resources to execute the work safely and successfully.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of project delivery, from planning to execution, for multiple projects and smaller programs within an annual capital works program of $150-$200mill
- Work with your project managers to define project scopes and estimates, prepare budgets, and allocate resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Apply a program view to identify project efficiencies
- Ensure all project risks are identified and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage peak workload and engage short term contractors to lead key projects when required to support the team.
- Work with the Asset Managers to develop the future year annual capital program and project stage gate governance activities.
- Work with site leadership to deliver projects within an operational environment and to meet the operation needs of the plant.
- Continuously aim to enhance delivery methodologies and engage in quality control and dispute resolution as needed.
About you:
Your skills and experience will include:
- Degree qualifications in Project Management, Finance, Commerce, Business Management, Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Post graduate qualifications in project or program management (preferred).
- Significant experience successfully managing projects in heavy industry environments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multi-disciplined programs/projects or overhaul teams in a large industrial plant.
- Intermediate / advanced MS Excel, SAP and project management software.
- Ability to collate and present project data to key stakeholders including the Executive and Board of Directors.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to foster strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Solutions orientated with the ability to think outside the box to achieve outcomes.
This role will require travel to our sites in Queensland, Callie and Kogan Creek Power Station. All travel and expenses covered by CS Energy.
