Job Description

- Manage a large transformation project across and award winning business
- Manage this group of projects through the complete lifecycle from inception, design, delivery and embedding/on-going improvement
The Program Manager will take charge of a distinct group of aligned projects within the Transformation. The Program Manager is accountable for managing the program on a daily basis, including Project Managers supporting the stream of work, for both Technology and business activities.
As a leader, this role is required to coach, support and develop the supporting project team leaders on best practices, ensuring that the overall team’s work-plan is delivered, with a pipeline of skills to support future team capability requirements.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Manage the day-to-day execution of the program in conjunction with their project managers and senior leads through the end-to-end lifecycle from inception, delivery and embedding/ongoing run
- Overseeing the creation of necessary business cases (cost and benefit profile)
- Coordinating the go-to-market activities with Procurement and the Technology commercial team.
- Providing a forward view of resource usage, including people, release windows, and business SMEs
- Effectively manage risk for the project in conjunction with the Group Risk team and other stakeholders. Effectively manage actions, issues and dependencies (including cross-project)
- Manage the financial profile for the program including a forward view of anticipated costs
- Provide necessary information and access for independent assurance reviews.
- Prepare required materials for the Program Steering Committee
- Implementing the agreed-upon unified delivery methods and tools for the Transformation project.
Qualifications
Now let’s talk about you:
- 7+ years Project Management experience and 3-5+ years Program Management experience including relevant certification such as Prince 2 or PMP.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing high-profile, IT Transformation and ERP/large complex programs.
- Experience working on large Identity and Cyber security programs of work.
- Possesses extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tracking tools - with a focus on pragmatic execution.
- Ability to take the lead and drive projects forward through being proactive in identifying areas for improvement and recommending innovative solutions.
- Exhibits excellent planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work
