Program Manager

Operating in the Defence, Security, and Commercial markets and specialising in Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) in the Asia-Pacific region, we are seeking a versatile and experienced Program Manager to lead programs across these varied sectors.

Role Overview: The Program Manager will play a crucial role in managing and executing programs across defence, government, and commercial sectors, focusing on schedule, cost, and performance. This position involves direct client interaction, comprehensive oversight of program life cycles, and alignment with strategic objectives of Quantum-Systems and our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage programs in defence, government, and commercial sectors from inception to completion.
• Navigate and adhere to contract stipulations in collaboration with the contracting team.
• Formulate and evaluate subcontractor agreements, ensuring integration of reporting mandates and timelines.
• Design and execute Schedule Risk Analysis and devise risk mitigation plans.
• Achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction across all sectors.
• Lead diverse project teams, managing interdependencies and priorities effectively.
• Communicate proactively to guarantee seamless program progression.
• Produce detailed program outlines, encompassing budget, EAC and resource allocation.
• Present program updates utilising project management tools and techniques.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 8 – 12 years of experience in Program Management, preferably in defence and/or government.
• Existing Security Clearance, or ability to obtain one.
• Proven track record in leading diverse and high-impact programs.
• Collaborative skills across various departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Contracts, and Engineering.
• Proficiency in integrated planning, risk management, corrective actions, and financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Project.
• Willing to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Preferred experience in UAS-related or highly technical environments.
• Background check required.
