What’s the role?
- Deliver effective and high quality Early Psychosis services at headspace in Darwin and Palmerston
- Provide young people experiencing Early Psychosis and their families evidence based, clinical mental health treatment.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to provide dynamic leadership, management and coordination of the assessment and continuing care teams
- Ensure service delivery meets the Australian Early Psychosis Program (AEPP) model of care and headspace model of evidence based best practice
Is this the right role for you?
- Minimum qualification required is an approved tertiary qualification and minimum 5 years' experience in a health-related discipline (Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Registered or Clinical Psychologist, Nursing)
- Registration with relevant regulatory body such as AHPRA or membership of, and adherence to professional standards (E.g. AASW for Social Workers)
- Experience in evidence based therapeutic modalities (i.e. CBT and ACT) is essential.
- Effective leadership, mentoring and coaching skills with experience in providing clinical leadership and supervision within a multi-disciplinary team.
- A passion for youth mental health, in particular working alongside young Aboriginal people and their families
Applications are sought from: Clinical Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists.
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
