About the Team
Join the Scheme Payments Transformation Branch, where strategic planning and project delivery are at the heart of enhancing claims, payments, and financial processes. Our Program Management Office oversees a portfolio of projects, ensuring progress, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
About the Role
As the EL2 Program Manager, you'll drive complex projects with a focus on quality outcomes. Your role involves significant autonomy, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement, representing interests across various forums.
- Develop and maintain the PMO to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Create and implement program/project plans and governance structures.
- Monitor and report on project progress and outcomes.
- Prepare business cases, reports, and executive briefs.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
- Analyse project performance and coordinate quality management activities.
- Drive optimisation initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
- Utilise frameworks like Prince2 and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Manage program budgeting and staff resourcing.
- Develop and manage a learning curriculum for project management capabilities.
About you

- Proactivity, emotional intelligence, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in project or change management.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
