There is a Program Manager (EL1) opening for an experienced oncology pharmacist, with expertise in program/project management to support the overall improvement and management of listing information for inclusion under the Efficient Funding of Chemotherapy (EFC) program, PBS Section 100 Program.
You will be bringing your strong oncology therapeutic area knowledge, supporting the management of the EFC program which includes implementing recommendations from the committee's review and executing the legislative amendments and policy implementation to ensure timely achievement of short and long-term activities.
You will have the opportunity to lead the strategic policy development and program management including contract and financial management activities related to the EFC program, evaluating its programs to ensure that they reflect innovation in program design and administration and achieve the desired health outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and ideally have:
- Experience related to PBS Listing and Health Technology Assessment, including qualifications in pharmacy, pharmacology and health-technology-related disciplines
- Strong understanding of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme listing and medical terminology, specifically, the listing of the Efficient Funding of Chemotherapy (EFC) program
- Strong written communication skills, delivering complex high-quality correspondence and project management skills whilst delivering on competing priorities and deadlines
- Capacity to acquire knowledge quickly, adaptive to an agile/ dynamic environment and working effectively with complex stakeholders
