We are seeking 2 experienced Program Managers who will play a key role in delivering and implementing strategic regulatory transformation activities at the VBA.
Position overview
The Program Manager – Strategy & Transformation is responsible for facilitating the delivery and implementation of best practice project management plans and procedures for large, complex regulatory transformation activities via the Reform Management Office (RMO). This role leads a range of planning, reporting and RMO-related activities and requires flexibility and resilience within a dynamic and constructive team.
This role is also responsible for designing and developing strategies for optimal performance of programs in the RMO and will be responsible for establishing program processes to support project delivery and participating in the delivery of key project management outputs and functions. The Program Manager – Strategy & Transformation will also be responsible for liaison and coordination across the Division and the organisation, and with relevant stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in managing complex programs including the delivery of projects within a regulatory environment
- Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to identify and analyse trends
- Proven ability to think strategically about projects, outcomes, risks and issues, and develop and communicate strategic responses and plans
- Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Tertiary qualifications and/or professional project management qualifications are desirable
