Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare, seek approval for, and manage Programs, including coordination of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
- Ensure compliance with Clients and BGIS governance processes, including accurate and timely reporting of project and program status.
- Drive the delivery of approved programs, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, obtaining approvals, managing risks, and resolving issues.
- Ensure that works and services are completed in accordance with specified project time, quality, and budget.
- Advocate for exceptional customer service.
- Actively manage employees and subcontractors through effective leadership and communication.
- Ensure full compliance and consistency with the contract and BGIS business systems.
- Ensure that Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures are met and maintained by all stakeholders.
Essential:
- Strong demonstrated experience in the delivery of projects or Capex programs.
- Strong demonstrated commercial construction experience.
- Strong demonstrated experience in relationship management with external clients and contractors.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial knowledge and skills.
- Experience in the management of WHS for construction sites.
- Proven capability of working within an environment using QA, WH&S, and environmental systems.
- Ability to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
- Proficient in applications including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
- Proven ability in working within an integrated services and property model delivering Property Management, Facilities Management, and Project Management services.
- Membership in AIPM/AIA/IEAust/AIQS.
Essential:
- Certificate IV in WHS or extensive project management experience.
- Holds a current General Induction for the Construction Industry card.
- Graduate Diploma of Project Management; or
- Trade Certificate in a relevant discipline (e.g., drafting, building and construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC mechanic, mechanical engineering technician); or
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Architecture, Building/Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying).
- Post trade/Postgraduate qualifications in Building systems, Project Management, Engineering, or Business Management.
- Accredited NABERS assessor.
- Accredited Green Star professional.
