Project Accountant (Contract)

The Role:

• Project Accountant - Implementation support for Transactional Accounting teams (AP, AR, banking)
• 5-month contract position with potential to extend
• $40-45 / hour + super based on experience
• South Melbourne location - Fully office-based

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with system configuration and set up of master data
• Upload transactional data and journals (AP, AR, Cash, GL, Payroll)
• Help with the new system including data entry and reconciliations between the systems
• Reconciliations of accounts
• Test AP, AR, banking and FA functions
• Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Requirements:

• Experience with high volume transactions
• Reconciliation skills (subledgers)
• Understand Accounting principles
• Intermediate Excel skills and Dynamics experience a huge plus
• Experience in system implementation
