AddressAn exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Asset Accountant to join a dynamic team in one of Queensland's largest Government Organisations.

About the role:
- Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with departmental business units and other stakeholders
- Support the validation of accruals for capital projects, ensuring alignment with invoicing in subsequent period
- Collaborate with the wider team to provide guidance and support on proposed capitalisation of completed assets
- Contribute to initiatives within the Financial Management project during the engagement period
- Perform other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate
- Maintain a strong client service focus for all project activities
- Ad-hoc duties as required
About you:
- Previous experience with SAP financial systems or other financial systems is advantageous
- Experience in infrastructure financial management, including project financial management and asset accounting
- Strong financial analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel and compiling and analysing financial reports
- Previous experience in financial management or project support roles
- Knowledge of infrastructure project management is beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
