Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Associate to partners with allocated Consultant(s) and the Delivery teams to drive and coordinate the success of allocated projects. The Project Associate will be responsible for end–to–end project management and coordination of searches, ensuring they are well planned, resourced, and meet agreed deadlines.
This role requires you to effectively set and manage achievable deadlines for assignments for the Delivery team, as well as managing your personal workload. This will require you to be an expert delegator and to proactively escalate resourcing issues with both the delivery team and your manager to ensure sufficient resources. You need the capability and resilience to drive projects end-to-end, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables and outcomes are met. You will be trusted by your colleagues to set and manage project outcomes and timelines.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Assistant, Project Manager, Executive Assistant or similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Partner with consultant(s) to support all business development activities.
- Lead, coach and be accountable for project management (milestones, deliverables), template usage and anticipation of resource requirements.
- Manage assigned consultant(s) calendar, prioritising key deliverables and activities to manage their commitments effectively.
- Prepare project documentation to be presented to clients including pitch presentations, proposals, executive briefs, candidate information packs and reference templates.
- Screen phone calls and emails; respond appropriately or redirect as necessary.
- Manage and drive the agenda for project related internal meetings
- Partner with Project team members to ensure they receive sufficient support, guidance, and can ask questions.
- Assist as requested with events and attend client functions.
- Collaborate with other team members on various projects or initiatives.
About you
- Associate degree or higher in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years in an administrative or project management role in a corporate environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite, video conferencing (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and Adobe skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
