Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Your future roleAn opportunity has become available for a Project Assurance Engineer to join our Fleet Maintenance team on our dynamic and growing QNGR project. Based at the Wulkuraka Maintenance Facility near Ipswich, you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and will primarily be responsible for ensuring the assurance activities and compliance and certification documents and activities are completed prior to returning vehicles to service after modifications are performed on the QNGR fleet. You will also be responsible for;

• Owning the Project Assurance and internal certification of engineering compliance process whilst involving other key stakeholders and customers.
• Ensuring that the QNGR fleet is delivered safely and reliably back to service after project modifications.
• Understanding the engineering and project modifications involved in the upcoming AVP, ETCS and ATO/PSD projects, and communicating effectively to stakeholders and customers.
• Providing coaching type support to key stakeholders.
• Building/maintaining positive relationships with project and Engineering Functions.
• Managing the dilapidation process prior to modification and ICEC process post modification.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, and tooling according to Engineering changes.
