OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Communication Support Officer to play an important part in delivering effective communication activities. In this role you will work closely with Project Managers, Key Stakeholders and the Digital team, fostering strong relationships that promote awareness of project activities, further building the reputation. This role will see you develop and implement a wide range of project related communication artefacts.
Produce compelling multi-channel communication initiatives, promoting key project and organisational messages including emails, newsletters, brochures, flyers, factsheets, presentations and web pages.
Contribute to the creation of a suite of communication artefacts, including templates, branding and messaging guides and standards.
Work closely with projects, helping to translate complex information into clear and simple concepts that meet stakeholder information needs and assist projects with the development of communication plans.
Contribute to the execution and update of communication and digital marketing strategies.
Create and maintain strong client engagement with stakeholders, encouraging genuine feedback, through a variety of consultation techniques.
Collaborate with Researchers and internal staff to develop engaging communications and build strong relationships (SharePoint, websites, tools, guides, etc.)
Develop innovative and interesting ideas for effective communication to the Research Community.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgement and solve problems quickly and effectively.
Location and Contract TermThe role can be based in Adelaide SA, Canberra ACT or Melbourne VIC, with a start date 5 April (approx.) for 12 months with 2x6 month extensions options available.
