The team & opportunity:
Downer Utilities provides end-to-end service solutions across Power, Gas, Telecommunications, Water and Wastewater, Metering Services, Power, Transmission and Renewable constructions.
We are seeking a Project Controller to join our dynamic Power Projects team. In this role, you will be responsible for the capture, management and reporting of the financial position of each project including the management of overhead cost.
This is a full-time permanent position which can be based in Brisbane or Melbourne. We are open to other locations within Australia for the right candidate.
Our ideal candidate:
You will have the ability to analyse and interpret project financial information which will enable you to provide guidance to project teams and allow for a successful performance in this role.
- Experience in a similar role or 3-5 years in infrastructure project delivery.
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to audit and review current financial position and collate the information for reporting.
- P6 experience or exposure is advantageous.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
