Your new company
Our client is amongst the world's top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from its production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.
Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with internal teams and ensuring project progress as per an agreed baseline.
- Utilising earned value management across the study phase.
- Assisting in the development of project budgets and forecasts and providing input on cost control strategies.
- Coordinating the provision of cost engineering, estimating and scheduling expertise and support to studies and execution teams.
- Supporting month-end reporting including schedule, cost, status commentary.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the job, you will have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Controls, project management, or related roles within the mining industry.
- Proficiency in project management software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
