The Opportunity:
The Project Controls Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of projects within the assigned line of business.
They are responsible for the establishment and maintenance of project control systems, including cost, schedule, and risk management. This position requires a highly analytical and organised individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities will include:
Create and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
Monitor project financial performance and variances.
Prepare and analyse financial reports for project stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers to track project progress and performance.
Assist in resource allocation and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with project accounting standards and regulations.
Provide regular updates and insights on project financial health.
Support the project team in achieving project goals and objectives.
As the ideal candidate, you will bring:
Bachelor's degree or certification in a related field (desirable)
Proven experience in Project Controls or related roles, preferably in defence industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Well-developed communication and time management skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Eligible to obtain a security clearance
