Key Responsibilities include:
Providing and applying cost and schedule control techniques and analysis to Engineering Services projects.
Providing input to bid proposals, preparing estimates as required and allocate budget to committed funds.
Recommending improvements to processes through utilisation of experience and problem-solving skills.
Establish and leverage cross-discipline relationships within the business group to facilitate cost control.
Provide and apply cost control techniques and analysis to Engineering Services projects.
Implement and execute Project Controls techniques to proactively define, monitor, and communicate key metrics for projects.
Provide input for Project Monthly Status Reports
Work with project management and other members of the project team to manage the project budget.
Support PMs on the production of Monthly Estimates at Completion.
Review and maintain schedules and progress data.
Recommending improvements to processes through utilization of experience and problem-solving skills.
Establish and leverage cross-discipline relationships within the business group to facilitate cost control.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled and passionate professional wanting to progress in your career with a growing global consulting business. This is an entry level role suitable for someone in the early stages of their career.
You will have the following skills and experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, Economics/Actuary or related construction discipline
Some knowledge of industry best practices in Project Controls, including estimating, cost control and planning/scheduling, for Engineering services type projects.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong mathematical and written communication skills.
Relevant, proven and demonstratable industry experience required
