Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing and applying cost and schedule control techniques and analysis to Engineering Services projects.

• Providing input to bid proposals, preparing estimates as required and allocate budget to committed funds.

• Recommending improvements to processes through utilisation of experience and problem-solving skills.

• Establish and leverage cross-discipline relationships within the business group to facilitate cost control.

• Provide and apply cost control techniques and analysis to Engineering Services projects.

• Implement and execute Project Controls techniques to proactively define, monitor, and communicate key metrics for projects.

• Provide input for Project Monthly Status Reports

• Work with project management and other members of the project team to manage the project budget.

• Support PMs on the production of Monthly Estimates at Completion.

• Review and maintain schedules and progress data.

• Recommending improvements to processes through utilization of experience and problem-solving skills.

• Establish and leverage cross-discipline relationships within the business group to facilitate cost control.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled and passionate professional wanting to progress in your career with a growing global consulting business. This is an entry level role suitable for someone in the early stages of their career.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, Economics/Actuary or related construction discipline

• Some knowledge of industry best practices in Project Controls, including estimating, cost control and planning/scheduling, for Engineering services type projects.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong mathematical and written communication skills.

• Relevant, proven and demonstratable industry experience required
