Project Coordinator - DefenceJob Description
We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to be part of our dynamic team. As a Project Coordinator at Cushman & Wakefield, you will be instrumental in supporting the planning, coordination, and successful execution of multiple projects across our organization. Collaborating closely with diverse teams, you will ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget constraints, and high-quality outcomes. Your organizational prowess and effective communication will be key in driving project success.
Due to the nature of our client, Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this role.
Responsibilities:
Defence security clearance or ability to attain (must be Australian Citizen)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or Contracts Administrator
Exceptional skills in contract management, with a keen focus on adhering to project timelines and milestones
Strong organizational acumen enabling proficient program management and documentation handling
Proficient in utilizing software tools such as Procore, JDE, and MS Project to streamline project scheduling and resource allocation
Ensuring all necessary approvals and inspections are secured for the project
Proficiency in financial and project reporting, including cash flows and budget management
Interpretation of architectural plans to effectively define project scopes and handle claims
Expertise in cost management, including tracking project expenditure and managing subcontractor claims
2 years’ experience in project coordination or construction administration roles.
Previous experience within the construction industry desirable
About you:
Advanced competency with MS Office and Procore
Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
Solid understanding of corporate systems (eg: Workday, JDE, SAP, Engage2)
