ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE DEPARTMENT:
The project lead will be part of the Department of Peri-op and Specialist Service and will be required to provide additional support to a number of priority projects such as:
WMH - Rapid Access Hub
- Day Surgery Reporting and Analytics, Theatre Optimisation Reporting and Analytics
- Best Care Review – Reporting, and Division Governance Group – Reporting and Analytics.
This role will require an understanding and interest in data analytics and reporting to:
- Review current external HSP reporting requirements to identify gaps in current reporting processes and systems to stream line and automate DH and WMHSP reporting
- Review current internal Division Perioperative & Specialist Services HSP aligned reporting frameworks to identify a range of potential enhancements and additions, including: activity reporting by Health Service (HS) partner, resource utilisation, cancellations rates, efficiency metrics and automation / digitisation of dashboard reports to enhance and inform internal managerial decision making. Ensure data reporting definitions are consistent with Department of Health performance monitoring.
- Work in partnership with the MHVL (Mercy Hospitals) Decision Support Team to provide pro-forma streamlined and automated Dashboard Reporting and Analytics in both tabular and summary visualisation / graphical presentation formats.

- Health related qualification &/or:
Bachelor degree qualification with experience working on complex projects in a hospital or other healthcare setting.
