  • HEW 7 $97,940 - $107,842 + 17% Superannuation (pro rata, part time)

The Sustainable Health Network (SHN) delivers research, education and partnerships relating to the overlapping themes of enabling a sustainable world and improving health and wellbeing. Our priorities closely align to global and local mandates for change including the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The SHN is a trusted leader in generating knowledge and translating evidence to real world solutions with a multi-disciplinary, co-designed and systems approach to Sustainable Health.

As a Project Coordinator, Sustainable Health Network, you will:

  • Manage all operational aspects of the SHN, ensuring co-ordination of meetings, collaborative project activities, interdependencies across projects and staff working across these projects, and achievement of key milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with leads of sub-streams of SHN.
  • Work closely with SHN researchers, to ensure successful delivery of core SHN research activities.
  • Support and co-ordinate grant funded SHN projects- providing support with ethics proposals and grant submissions, as well as providing project management support to funded SHN projects.
  • Represent SHN at faculty and university-wide research meetings of relevance to the SHN to remain up to date on research policies, support structures and make appropriate contribution on behalf of SHN.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A degree in health-related discipline.
  • Experience in operational and/or project management in a research environment.
  • Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary, cross institution and cross sector projects
  • Understanding of funding context in the health sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within organisational systems and processes including working on projects that involve universities and health care settings such as hospitals.
