Our Hardscapes division is in search of a Project Coordinator with proven experience in managing internal teams across multiple projects of varying sizes for diverse clients. These projects typically range from $15,000 to $250,000 and are often conducted simultaneously.
Reporting to our Operations Manager, the role's primary focus is to deliver the concrete footpath, kerbing and minor civil scopes of all clients (Local & State Government, Tier 1 & 2 Civil Construction clients) contract works utilising plant, staff and subcontractors within Dowsing Group's experienced Hardscapes division.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have demonstrated experience leading and managing people on multiple workfronts and on multiple sites;
- Be highly organised and process driven;
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills;
- Have strong contractual acumen - Tier 1 & Tier 2 contract experience preferred;
- Possess a client centric focus attending site meetings with key stakeholders when required;
- Have experience delivering similar scope of works;
- Enjoy looking for innovative solutions to problems; and
- Have general knowledge of all civil construction processes, with an interest in concrete footpaths, slabs & kerbing.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Planning & scheduling internal resources and subcontractors;
- Delivering projects in line with Dowsing's standard of excellence and core company values;
- Managing multiple contracts/projects simultaneously;
- Managing internal site teams and subcontractors;
- Ensuring all client/contract deliverables are met;
- Contribute to the maintenance of a zero harm safety culture.
This position is ideal for someone who has formal training or qualifications in construction management and thrives on a hands-on approach in a dynamic environment.
