As the Project Delivery Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Facilitating the effective end to end delivery of mechanical, electrical and civil minor capital projects while maintaining clear accountabilities between Melbourne Water and the Service Provider.
  • Providing robust governance on multiple minor capital projects on our Water and Sewerage Network and treatment plants.
  • Coordination and scheduling of the program between internal operational teams and delivery service providers.
  • Financial Management of projects including review of project estimates, variations, forecasting and closeout of projects.
  • Safety Leadership and taking care of own and colleagues Health and Safety through identification and reporting of hazards and active involvement in improvement initiatives.
  • A valid Driver's Licence as this role requires frequent travel.
  • Help to foster a culture of Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
About you:
  • You have a broad technical knowledge of the mechanical, electrical and civil maintenance disciplines and provide advice to internal teams and service providers to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes
  • Have an understanding of contracts and contract management
  • You have strong commercial acumen with experience in the preparation and monitoring of budgets
  • Ability to undertake health and safety and quality assurance audits and have a Clear understanding of health and safety management systems and processes
  • Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service, and contribute to a constructive, positive and supportive team environment
  • Sound negotiation and problem-solving skills.
