Form of work Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key strategic initiatives within a government team Your new company A government organisation based in the surrounding suburbs of Perth CBD, are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead a number of complex projects and / or major change initiatives. This opportunity is being offered on a 12-month temporary engagement, working full-time hours and paying a competitive hourly rate. Your new role As the Project Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leading a number of complex projects and / or change initiatives within a key program of the business. Your duties will include:
Leading key strategic change initiatives
Acting as a key representative for the program, participating in a variety of internal and external stakeholder meetings / discussions
Manage resources, budget, project schedule, risk and issues to ensure successful Project Delivery
Collaborate with the wider project team to provide regular status updates and communication to the wider organisation
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to improve Project Delivery
Undertake other duties as required to support project completion
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
Advanced experience in leading and managing complex business changes / improvement strategies
Advanced experience in managing complex business projects, with a confident understanding of project management methodologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in managing supplier / vendor relationships
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
