At the City of PAE, we're driving innovation and excellence in every project we undertake. As the Project Delivery Team Leader, you'll be at the helm of our ambitious ventures, leading a team of passionate individuals to success.
Key responsibilities of the position:
- Provides high level support to the Manager Design, Construction & Transport for implementation and supervision of capital works projects throughout the City
- Provides specialist technical advice and support to other teams within Council to contribute to the efficient management of Council’s assets and delivery of projects
- Leads a high performing team focused on strong culture and collaboration across the organisation.
- Leads and manages the delivery of Annual Capital works projects for Roads, Footpath, stormwater and Traffic Devices
- Manages and identifies opportunities for grant funding, prepares documents and submits grant applications to relevant authorities
- Manages budgets of over 200 plus civil works projects annually and undertakes quarterly budget reviews for projects in the annual capital works programme
The successful applicant will have:
A Degree in Civil Engineering or related Discipline is essential
Detailed and specialised knowledge of all Civil Engineering disciplines including:
- Road design, construction and maintenance,
- Drainage construction and maintenance,
- Road surfacing knowledge including asphalt, spray seals and modified binders,
- Concrete and concrete structures, and
- Footpath construction and maintenance.
Experience in managing civil engineering construction and maintenance projects on public roads, recreation reserves and other Council property is desirable

This is a Level 8 position which has a current salary range of $132,610 - $141,707 (plus Super).
