Situated within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, we work in partnership with APS agencies on a wide range of high-profile issues that make a real difference to the wellbeing of Australians.

What you'll doAs a Project Director at AGC, you will:
Form part of the AGC Leadership Team to guide the strategic direction of AGC.
Lead the delivery of end-to-end high quality strategic consulting projects that meet client needs, with a focus on providing strategic advice or building high-performing government agencies.
Manage the delivery of client engagements, and skilfully engage with key stakeholders to influence outcomes.
Lead a high-performing team, offering career coaching, mentoring and support to build a positive work environment.
Provide thought leadership across AGC, lending your expertise to other project teams and proposing innovative ideas and solutions to drive AGC forward.
Apply strong critical and strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mind-set to deliver the best outcomes possible.
Guide your team in applying structured problem solving techniques to policy and organisational challenges, facilitating workshops and interviews, analysing data and producing meaningful reports.
Work with the AGC Business Development and Capability Teams to build AGC's business and guide the development of core intellectual property, methodologies, and capability development.

Substantial experience in a consulting services environment
Experience in planning, managing and delivering complex projects
Experience leading and managing high performing teams
A passion for making a difference and challenging the status-quo
The ability to think critically and bring a strategic and innovative mind-set to identify and solve problems
The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external audiences, including senior leaders, to secure outcomes
Demonstrate flexibility and resilience to deliver results and manage expectations in ambiguous and sometimes high-pressure work environments
