Project Engineer

With recent award of many projects (both existing and in the future), there is an opportunity to come onboard and support the successful delivery of various civil infrastructure projects across south-east Queensland
Our clients are tier 1, 2 & 3 civil contractors who have a large demand for Project Engineers to work across their monumental infrastructure projects on a contract basis.
To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrated local experience of a similar nature - within civil works of road & structural infrastructure in major project environments.

In this role the responsibilities will include:

• Conduct regular site inspections, address any construction-related challenges, and ensure compliance with relevant quality control procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to the site engineering and subcontractor teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Perform other engineering duties as assigned by the senior Project Engineer and project management team.
• Manages project tasks to deliver profit and effective cost control. 
• Innovate around the job specifications with the client and subcontractors to drive productivity and better financial outcomes.  

• Completion of Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree or similar 
• Holds valid ‘C’ class drivers licenses. 
• Holds a valid Construction Safety Awareness Card 
• 3+ years of proven/demonstrated experience in civil infrastructure.
• Strong subcontractor management skills.
