THE ROLE:We are seeking EOI's from individuals with varying levels of construction-based experience.The
Project Engineer will leverage their technical expertise to guide and advise design teams, subcontractors and stakeholders on the Delivery and execution of varied synergistic civil construction projects. Reporting to and guided by the Project Manager, our Engineers are developed and empowered to deliver across schedule, budget, quality and safety outcomes. This is a rare long-term opportunity for a
Project Engineer looking to broaden their technical capabilities within a thriving Utilities business.
Key responsibilities include:- Establish working relationships with key Project stakeholders by providing technical advice and guidance across Subcontractors, Supervisors, Project Managers to positively influence the outcome of key deliverables.
- Attend planning visits, concept reviews and ensure design is aligned with capital budgets, community engagement requirements, safety and environmental legislations.
- Assist with development of budgets, monitor project controls and provide reports and forecasts accurately within program timeframes.
- Participate in procurement processes including purchasing, engaging suppliers, procurement package approval and subcontractor claims.
- Exemplify proactive safety leadership through ensuring site standards are met, championing safety initiatives.
ABOUT YOU- Civil or Mechanical Engineering Qualification
- Experience in Civil Construction and Delivery projects.
- Demonstrated experience in management of Site Engineers and Subcontractors.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clear and concise communication skills.
- The desire to work within a collaborative team environment and contribute to the cohesive team culture.
