We are proud of the work we produce and the long-standing relationships we build and are now recruiting for a Project Engineer to be part of our team and ongoing success. Our project delivery experience within the oil & gas sector is diverse and includes delivering construct only, design and construct and minor works, as well as operational and maintenance services across a range of works including both civil and structural works.
Reporting to our site-based Project Manager and working on a fly-in, fly-out basis on a life friendly roster, this present as a great opportunity to join an established industry leader who values its people.
Your role:
- Oversee overall project delivery activities including quality and safety
- Support and deliver month end reporting and cost forecasting
- Provide technical support to onsite supervision
- Oversee and manage your procurement, plant, equipment and resources;
- Conduct short- and medium-term planning relating to overall progress
- Ensure overall quality management including all necessary documentation;
- Lead and support a small team of developing engineers
- Assist and support various commercial activities including scope development, procurement and ongoing head and subcontract commercial management activities
Your background
- Previous experience with remote resource infrastructure projects ideally with previous experience as a Project Engineer
- Engineering qualifications from within a related field
- Demonstrated experience across a broad range civil works and/or related activities
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
