Axia Recruitment is proud to be partnering again with a leading organisation in Australia's renewable energy sector who are seeking a dynamic Project Engineer ready to lead and manage eco-friendly initiatives from conception to fruition.

We are inviting applications from seasoned Project Engineers eager to oversee the management of renewable projects, from the initial design phase to the final completion.

About The Role:
This role is a call to action for those who wish to make a tangible difference in the renewable sector. As a Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering solar and battery projects that range from 1-100MW, all the while ensuring that they uphold the values of diversity, not just in technology but also in geography within the company's portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise ongoing projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, financial constraints, and high-quality benchmarks.
- Engage with diverse groups, including clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and integrity in all dealings.
- Conduct thorough reviews of project documents to ensure precise implementation and risk management.
- Exhibit flexibility and resourcefulness in problem-solving.
- Coordinate with teams to establish project foundations, from scope to budget.
- Proactively communicate with site contractors and support procurement processes.
- Regularly update senior management with detailed reports and project progress.
- Willingness to undertake inter-state travel for project execution and oversight.


Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) or a relevant technical field.
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in project management, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of on-site activities, from inception to operational handover, particularly in solar power plants.
- Familiarity with Australian technical standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge internal and external communication.
