Project Engineer – Operational Technology

- Collaborate with various stakeholders across departments such as Engineering, Procurement, Technology and Operations to meet project outcomes within set timeframes
- Ongoing management of relationships with external stakeholders such as suppliers, vendors and other third parties
- Occasionally going on-site to ensure proper execution of project tasks in order to meet project outcomes
- Create RFQ’s/SRFs for tenders, evaluation and awarding of projects for the Annual Works plan
- Derive project scope and requirements in order to deliver on project activities
- Development of specifications, quality compliance and assurances packs
- Define the engineering requirements, design and implement appropriate engineering solutions accordingly
- Provide technical and engineering expertise for the investigation and analysis of identified engineering system issues
- Review design submissions and identify anomalies in accordance with design principles and relative standards
- Tertiary qualifications in Telecommunications, IT or a similar field.
- Minimum 3+ years’ post qualification experience in Operational Technology projects, ideally within heavy asset industries such as Rail, Utilities, Water, Oil/Gas, Power, Construction.
- Track record of delivering large scale projects on time with demonstrable skills in developing project scope, tenders, contractor management, compliance, and assurance.
- Proven expertise in the investigation and analysis of identified engineering system issues.
- Must possess, or be willing to obtain a construction industry white card
- Must possess a valid Driver’s license
- Cisco Certified Network Admin (CCNA) accreditation, desirable
