Form of workDue to the sustained increase in our client’s workload, we have an immediate requirement for a Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of sustaining and capital engineering projects for their key clients including Rio Tinto, BHP & FMG.
They are specifically looking for significant demonstrable experience in the Project Engineering of projects relating to either materials handling or associated non-process infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Project management training or qualification advantageous.
Experience
- Target 2-5 years’ engineering experience in the mining (or similar resources based) industry with most of this in a multi-discipline design environment.
- Experience as a Project engineer advantageous.
- Exposure to design, fabrication, construction, commissioning and operations and site works advantageous.
Key Behaviours/Attributes
- Highly motivated to gain experience in Project engineering and project management.
- Strong interpersonal skills required to interface with a range of technical and non-technical personnel at all levels.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
- High level of computer literacy.
Immediate start, located in Perth CBD.
