Our client is a well respected top tier company, who perform as the primary contractor. They have completed many major infrastructure projects Australia wide and have a large pipeline of works in 2024. They complete a variety of civil projects, always making work interesting and something new from civil infrastructure projects to renewables and mine infrastructure works. This role ideally suited for those based in Brisbane

Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an experienced Engineer to complement the existing team on-site with your road construction knowledge, hard work attitude and enthusiasm. You will be assisted by highly experienced and knowledgeable professionals.

Role

As a Project Engineer, you will:

• Ensure work is being performed in a safe manner
• Assist in the engineering design and construction processes for the road construction project, ensuring that all works are completed in compliance with project specifications, safety standards and within budget.
• Support the Senior Project Engineer in managing project schedules and budgets, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated and utilized.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and other engineering teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical support to junior engineers and project staff.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports as required.

• Minimum 4 + years experience on large civil infrastructure projects
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years TMR
• Excellent communication skills
• Have a can-do attitude
