We’re seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Project Engineer to join our small Engineering team, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer on a permanent, full-time basis. From early 2025 the primary focus and base for the role will be Salisbury South, while work at existing sites (Mile End and Parkside) will continue. This is an incredibly exciting time to join us as we are actively developing our new complex, offering a unique opportunity to be involved in a multimillion-dollar food manufacturing project from its early stages through to completion.
This role is integral to the successful completion of our new complex in Salisbury South and the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of our existing equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the manufacturing team in production troubleshooting, capital works, maintenance, contractor management and more.
To thrive in this position, you will:
- Be a graduate Mechanical Engineer in the first few years of your career.
- Preferably have experience in food manufacturing, project management, and project installation.
- Demonstrate leadership and ability to contribute technical expertise to a cross-functional team.
- Work independently under the supervision of the Manufacturing Engineer and collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proactively solve problems and consider customer impacts in decisions.
- Contribute to the successful execution of other special projects as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining and promoting work health and safety standards and ensuring statutory compliance.
