About the role:
As a Project Implementation Manager, you will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary project team to effectively deliver the implementation of the IWFM electronic rostering solution for predominantly nurses and midwives across multiple Queensland Health sites. The role will drive program outcomes through effective people management, high level stakeholder engagement and support for end users to ensure effective implementation.
About the Integrated Workforce Management Program:
The Integrated Workforce Management (IWFM) Program is a key strategic initiative for Queensland Health that will enhance the roster-to-pay process, deliver positive outcomes to support enhanced workforce management and drive the delivery of tangible benefits for both Hospital and Health Services (HHS) and the Department of Health, through improved tools, processes, and access to workforce decision-support information where and when it is needed.
What we are looking for:
* Strong background in successfully managing and delivering complex organisational-wide ICT-enabled business change management projects.
* Expertise in applying established project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.
* Well-developed leadership and team management skills, and experience in building and sustaining high profile multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve high quality project outcomes.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage influence and connect with others and build positive productive internal and external working relationships, often remotely.
* Expertise in applying established project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.
* Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of HR and roster-to-payroll workflow processes and systems.
