Job description

City of Newcastle's newly established Environment and Sustainability Service Unit is looking for an experienced Project LeadClimate Change and Sustainability to deliver projects and initiatives that support the City of Newcastle's (CN) and the community's transition to net zero emissions and that contribute to the sustainability of CN operations.

As the Project Lead, you will ensure CN's net zero and Sustainability projects efficiently and effectively deliver benefits to the organisation and drive improved sustainability outcomes.

With your in-depth project management skills, you will utilise your technical knowledge and leadership skills to connect and build key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, to successfully deliver organisational renewable energy, energy efficiency, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and other vehicles, plant and equipment transition projects and initiatives, and to support community and business projects aimed at driving emission reductions.
