Job description
The role Reporting to the Project Manager, Workforce Strategy Project Team, you will take charge of delivering targeted workforce initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders, playing a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the Queensland Health Workforce Strategy Action Plan.
You will partner with the Project Manager, Director, and the Workforce Strategy Project Team to lead, develop, implement, and monitor internal quality governance processes and frameworks. This includes actively managing planning, auditing, and reporting for the unit. Some of your responsibilities include:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve strategy and plan delivery.Support the development and implementation of Queensland health workforce projects.Lead and manage projects addressing common workforce issues.Ensure the use of suitable project management techniques and methodologies aligned with Queensland Health policies.
The successful personYou will have demonstrated:
* Knowledge and understanding of current health workforce challenges in Queensland.
* Understanding of Queensland Health and Hospitals and Health services functions including funding, governance.
* Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Proven ability to lead projects for designing, implementing, and evaluating operational changes.
