Halcyon Knights is looking for a dynamic Project Management Officer (PMO) who will play a vital role in supporting our state government client's Project Management Framework (PMF). The role involves providing assurance, administration, and reporting to ensure a consistent standard of best practice across the client's portfolio, program, and projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE
⦁ Identify and monitor portfolio risks, plan and implement responses, and respond to issues affecting portfolio outcomes.
⦁ Consolidate and document fundamental components of scope, schedule, resourcing requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities, issues, and quality requirements.
⦁ Monitor finances of portfolio, programs, and projects to drive performance as part of the organization's fiscal management.
⦁ Monitor and maintain overall schedule for resource use, avoiding bottlenecks and conflicting demands, and sequencing outcomes for efficient realization of benefits.
⦁ Manage stakeholders, considering levels of influence and particular interests.
⦁ Establish and manage reviews at appropriate points during portfolios, providing evaluations of progress, methodologies, and continuing relevance.
⦁ Establish and implement protocols to change the scope of portfolios and update configuration documents as required.
⦁ Gather independent evidence that information from portfolios, programs, and projects are valid and likely to achieve their objectives.
⦁ Recommend allocation of financial and other resources amongst change initiatives to optimize the organization's investments.
⦁ Identify, define, evaluate, plan, track, and realize measures of success.
⦁ Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the delivery of programs and projects.
⦁ Identify and develop frameworks and methodologies to ensure management of programs and projects are comprehensive and consistent across different initiatives.
⦁ Achieving cooperation, compliance, and engagement in the value of a corporate governance function in an environment of conflicting interests and opinions.
⦁ Identifying new and innovative program or Project Management approaches and tools, embedding these in the behavior and day-to-day activities of the organization's operations.
ABOUT YOU
⦁ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
⦁ Proven experience in Project Management, governance, or related field.
⦁ Strong understanding of Project Management frameworks and methodologies.
⦁ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
⦁ Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
⦁ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
⦁ Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred
