AddressLeading utilities / civils contractor has an immediate requirement for an experienced Project Manager with civils and underground services experience
Our client is a leading privately owned WA water, undreground services and civils and specialist contractor with a successful water utilities division with an extensive ongoing pipeline of work. With an excellent track record of successfully completed projects and others due to commence for various clients including WaterCorp, they have a current requirement for an experienced Project Manager with underground services/utilities experience and associated civil works.
This role will be suited to someone with current or proven previous management experience on underground services, utilities (WaterCorp) or civil projects either Perth based or remote with values ranging from $2m-$8m+, knowledge or experience on WaterCorp utilities projects would be advantageous.
Apart from water experience our client is looking for someone who is comfortable managing associated civil works including general civils and local authority maintenance contracts. This role requires an individual with solid project management experience that can manage 2-3 projects simultaneously, be financially astute with a technical problem solving approach.
Due to the size and nature of our clients’ projects candidates with a 2nd or large 3rd tier specialist contracting background would be suited.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary / Degree educated in civil engineering (preferred)
- Tier 2 or large tier 3 experience required
- 4+ yrs Project Management experience with a recognised contractor
- Underground utilities experience advantageous
- Proven experience managing several projects at once
- Excellent man management & client facing skills
- Commercially aware
- Computer literate
