We have an outstanding opportunity to join a rapidly growing national business. This business does commercial fit outs and maintenance needs within the office and retail sectors. They have well known brands and organisations they look after nationally and are known for their strong reputation within their field.
The Sydney branch is really taking off and have a great team, so there is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to lead their business and oversee construction based shop and office fittings, run the office with both maintenance and projects and the ability to coordinate a team and be accountable. This is the most senior role within the Sydney office where you will report directly to the Directors of the business.
This is predominantly an office based role where the team do the site work.
This is a career role where there is the potential to grow the business and also open up a second office in Sydney in the future so you could develop into managing a couple of branches. This role is only the beginning!

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage and coordinate a branch with 3 direct staff plus 20+ contractors
- Project manage all aspects of projects – includes shop fittings, office fittings, office and retail maintenance
- Fulfil the role as business development manager along with your managing projects to promote presence in Sydney in the fit out, maintenance and design sectors
- Ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Monitor product standards and implement quality control measures and programs
- Work with Managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
- Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers including CAD Planners, Estimators, Site Teams
- Work on new ways to improve the efficiency of the company
- Improve profitability of business
- Seek to expand client base and industry contacts
- Implement environmental initiatives
- Manage company online presence
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven Project Management experience
- Proven office experience – the ability to put together emails/written correspondence to clients and ability to use office and project management systems
- This role is more inclined to be office based and the team do the site work (this role oversees a Construction Manager)
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
