We are seeking experienced Project Managers with a background in project and construction management, specifically within security infrastructure projects to join our Federal Government client on a Labour Hire basis. Candidates must have strong project delivery skills, an understanding of security measures in building projects, and the ability to manage projects locally and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the project team.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Manage project schedule and budget.
- Integrate stakeholders throughout the project phases.
- Liaise with project customers, stakeholders, and governance bodies.
- Manage project scope, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee design and documentation through all project phases.
- Handle project variations and change control.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate with stakeholders.
- Establish project administration systems and document control.
- Manage project costs and ensure quality standards.
- Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
- Maintain and report on project schedule progress.
- Manage risk management processes and contingency plans.
- Coordinate handover and completion activities.
- Ensure compliance with legislative obligations.
- Experience in delivering construction and physical security infrastructure projects.
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders and develop project briefs.
- Experience in procuring consultants and contractors.
- Review design documentation for security compliance.
- Conduct site visits and develop statements of work.
- Draft contract work orders and monitor budgets.
The Project Manager will be required to travel domestically and internationally to project sites as per the schedule.
