Project Manager – Renewable Energy Projects – Southern Highlands NSW – 1 year+ contractThe Company
Work for an ASX-listed public company with a huge focus on renewable energy development in Wind, Solar, BESS & Pumped Hydro. They are a major integrated electricity generator, and electricity and natural gas retailer leading the way in innovation and project development.
The Role
As the Project Manager, reporting to the Head of Projects, you will have operational management of construction contractors across the full project lifecycle. This will involve direct engagement with critical stakeholders to ensure all projects follow the required processes and are appropriately resourced, budgeted and scheduled.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning the overall projects, including associated projects and monitoring the progress
- Managing Projects budgets and scopes
- Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
- Coordinating the Projects and their interdependencies
- Managing and utilizing resources across projects
- Managing stakeholders’ communication
- Working with all stakeholders to identify, analyse and mitigate cost implications of variations and delays
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
- Managing the main project documentations such as the program initiation document
- Manage and coordinate members of the project and overhauls team to ensure work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the desired safety and quality standards (team members may not be direct reports
- Manage construction contractors for safety, quality and project execution
Key Requirements
- Construction Management experience in power generation projects, T&D or mining
- Experience managing muti-discipline engineering teams on complex projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to attend site regularly in Southern Highlands, NSW
Benefits
