The Role:
As Project Manager, you will join our dynamic team to manage the delivery of Residential and Commercial projects in Regional Victoria.
Reporting to the General Manager your focus will be the successful delivery of projects utilising your Project Management experience. You will monitor and control all aspects of the project throughout the entire project lifecycle from plan development through to project completion.

Responsibilities:
- Consult with project stakeholders to establish the needs and expectations of all relevant parties.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of project documentation to enable the efficient delivery of high quality, fit for purpose building construction and development projects.
- Preparation of project tenders / budgets including detailed estimating.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers to obtain project quotations and requirements for health and safety pre-qualification.
- Contract negotiation, preparation and execution.
- Prepare and issue project orders and engage subcontractors in accordance with the Macneil Group quality, health, safety and environmental system.
- Work closely with on-site staff to assist in the coordination of all suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor and control project scope and budget.
- Prepare and facilitate the flow of information to project stakeholders including meeting agendas/minutes, site instructions, requests for information, variation requests and progress claims in accordance with contract requirements and in accordance with the Macneil Group quality, health, safety and environment system.
- Visit site regularly and monitor quality, safety and manage design issues.
- Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule, and budget.
- Monitor compliance with all contract requirements throughout the duration of the project.
- Assess sub-contractor variations and progress claims.
- Approve and process project invoices.
- Monitor and assist with the ongoing development of labour and material rates database.
- Report internally on project performance on an ongoing basis in accordance with the Macneil Group quality, health, safety and environment system.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards at all stages of the construction process.
Experience & Skills required:
- Relevant Tertiary Education preferable but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in a Building Construction, Contract Administration or Project Management role, preferably in the Commercial Industry.
- Experience in project budgeting, financial management and cost control.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with clients, suppliers, contractors and various industry professionals.
- Understanding of health and safety systems for construction and contractor management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high quality outputs in a professional manner.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet project deadlines.
- Extensive Construction / Building Legislation knowledge
- Proven experience meeting deadlines and budgets
- Skilled in Microsoft Project and all Microsoft applications.
- The ability to delegate effectively and work cohesively with a team
