About the team
The Future Energy Exports Cooperative Research Centre (FEnEx CRC) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation striving to decarbonise energy exports through industrial-scale research and innovation. Established in 2020 as a research-driven charity, the organisation also delivers education and training, evidence-based advice to inform the development of government policies, testing facilities and PhD scholarship opportunities. Through research and innovation in LNG and Hydrogen, the FEnEx CRC will help Australia remain at the forefront of energy provision internationally.
About the opportunity
As the appointee you will, under broad direction, operate the FEnEx CRC's new project management system, project milestone reporting, and manage the research program by supporting the CRC's Research Director and Program Leads. You will engage with a variety of stakeholders including academics and industry to receive new project submissions and present these to the Research Advisory Council. You will engage with PhD students, partner universities, selected TAFE colleges, and industry to manage the PhD, micro-credentials, professional development, and manage the public outreach programs. You will also deliver a range of events to bring stakeholders together. You will also be a representative of the FEnEx CRC at certain events and meetings as required.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

• Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent
• Extensive relevant experience within a multi-partner research environment
• Demonstrated experience in receiving research related applications, preparing these for consideration by a selection panel, and communicating the outcomes
• Demonstrated experience in the appointment of PhD researchers, and the delivery of professional development programs
• Demonstrated experience with the management of conferences and events
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, show initiative and problem solve
• Confidence in engaging with internal and external stakeholders as a representative of the CRC
