About the Division / Team Our Interstate network is responsible for the management of approximately 6,000km of track and servicing a broad range of supply chains. The team comprises more than 500 staff and 24 provisioning centres and depots, which continue to deliver major corridor maintenance works and projects across the country to increase the efficiency and capacity of Australia's rail network. About the Opportunity Manage the delivery of allocated projects within the Annual Works Plan for the track section between Kalgoorlie to Serviceton & Parkes.Contribute to the implementation of the Major Maintenance Annual Works Plan by leading discrete project(s), ranging in size from $0.1M to $10M annually, to best achieve ARTC's objectives.Be responsible for project objectives, scope, costs, schedule, safety, environmental impact, reliability and maintainability, from strategy through to handover.To lead an internal and/or external team to successfully execute a project in order to achieve ARTC's objectives for the project.Plan the project in order to minimise the impact of the project work on ARTC's operations and ensure that the work is completed in accordance with ARTC quality and safety procedures. About You To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate: Degree in Engineering or equivalent Project Management qualifications.Extensive experience in engineering maintenance and/or construction of track, civil, structures.Demonstrated cost, budget and time management of projects.Knowledge of or an awareness of Work Health and Safety principles and relevant rail safety legislation.Current Class C driver's licence.
