About the role
The Project Manager will be responsible for 2 projects in the ISAP program; the ISAP Retention Disposal Schedule stream, the objective of which is to ensure we are not retaining unnecessary PII Data in our IT systems and applications and therefore reduce the impact of any data breach event. The goal of this project is to implement on-going disposal of PII data on an agreed schedule. The 2nd project is on the security standards stream and working alongside the Sponsor and Change Manager in embedding the standards into the Business.
This is a Business facing role and involves working with senior representatives across Origin to comply with and adopt the change.
Why the role matters
- Identify all the repositories of PII data we have at Origin and define on-going retention and disposal schedules (RDS).
- Capture implementation plans to configure on-going disposal on all applications containing PII data.
- Lead the Project Change Manager on managing the adoption of the change within the business, this includes ensuring that the Change Management Approach and plan is fit for purpose through stakeholder engagement and that it is signed off by the appropriate Heads of Departments.
- Lead the Project Business Analyst, ensuring that all data and statistics captured from Business Units is relevant for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Set up a governance framework to track progress against project metrics with each Business Unit.
- Track financials and budget through regular reporting in Clarity, this includes tracking the investment and spend within each Business Unit across Origin.
- Work alongside the Security SME and consultancies in finalizing new security standards and policies.
- Lead the engagement with a vendor for developing on line training material to support all changes.
- Maintain Jira tickets that will be used for showing progress in the ISAP Program Jira Roadmap.
- Active participation in the preparation of a Business Case for Data Governance initiatives in FY25.
- 10+ years IT Project Management experience working in an IT shared services environment and cost recovery models.
- 5+ years of executive stakeholder management.
- Extensive experience using both Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
- Proven project delivery track record of delivering complex projects within a large corporate organisation.
- Has extensive experience developing business cases and project dependency plans for projects.
- Evidenced experience setting up effective project governance and communication structures to proactively engage and inform project stakeholders.
- Has successfully identified, influenced and developed strong relationships with key stakeholders in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Understanding of vendor proposals and solution documents.
- Facilitate technical assurance of integrated solutions.
- Managing Vendors and 3rd Parties to deliver implementation to agreed SOWs.
- Experience in projects where processes are updated, created and changed.
