One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Project Managerto join their Information and Technology Services Branch.You will lead multidisciplinary projectteams to effectively deliver projects as well as engaging with stakeholders and utilising strong influencing and Change Management skills. The role will mainly be based in Canberrahowever flexible working arrangements may be considered. The successful Project Managerwill be offered a 12 month contractwith 2 X 12 month extension options.
The successfulProject Managerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Effectively managing multidisciplinary project teams using Agile Project Management methodologies such as PMBOK, Prince2 and Scrum
- Developing and managing the development of typical project artefacts to ensure successful end to end project delivery
- Directing and coordinating the development of strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of project outcomes
- Preparing and delivering high quality papers, briefs and presentations
The successful Project Managerwill have experience in the following:
- Good understanding of requirements and working in an Agile way
- Knowledge and experience with Project Management methodologies including Prince2 PMBOK, Scrum and Kanban
- Demonstrated experience in similar roles with the ability to delivery projects on time and within budget
- Ability to direct and coordinate the development of strategies as part of post implementation review cycles
