One of Australia’s dynamic Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced Project Manager and Delivery Managerto join their multidisciplinary team based. The successful Project Manager and Delivery Managerwill work within a large complex portfolio of work supporting major new capabilities and initiatives to deliver new and enhanced Digital Transformation for the department. The successful Project Manager and Delivery Managerwill secure a 12 month contract with two 12 month extension options with a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Project Managerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Analyse requirements and advises on scope and options for continual operational improvement
- Assess and evaluates risk that include taking corrective action as necessary to mitigate the risks
- Takes all requirements into account when making proposals
The successful Project Manager will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrate leadership in operational management environment
- Ability to Initiate and influence relationships with stakeholders and leads on collaboration across competing objectives
- Have deep expertise in own specialism(s) and an understanding of its impact on the broader business and wider customer/Department
The successful Delivery Managerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Develop a clear plan and roadmap to deliver the work on time and within budget Ability to establish objectives and assign responsibilities
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including business, designers, development teams, and operations, to ensure that the work is delivered in a manner that meets the needs of the business
- Manage risks and issues associated with the program, and take corrective action as necessary to mitigate these risks
The successful Delivery Managerto will have experience in the following:
- Ability to Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on programme-related activities.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce cost in the delivery of the program
