Our client, a large well-known organisation on the Gold Coast, are currently seeking a Business Project Manager for an initial 18 mth fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the following projects concurrently;
- administration accommodation & depot consolidation
- implementation of modern flexible working approaches
- vehicle utilisation
- implementation of commercial vehicle safety
Roles and responsibilities include;
- Lead and manage the effective integration of deliverables within defined scope, budget, time and quality parameters.
- Produce the required project management products, engaging relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility which meets business outcomes.
- Adequately plan, request and efficiently manage resource engagements which optimise project delivery.
- Establish fit for purpose project governance adhering to Project Governance framework.
- Work with the Departments to facilitate and develop efficient approaches and processes to define future service delivery approaches.

- Implement effective risk and issue management strategies to mitigate and/or minimise impacts to project delivery and benefit realisation.
- Provide timely and detailed reports to stakeholders and management, escalating issues, as necessary.
- Create and maintain a detailed project schedule and cost plan to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Develop, nurture and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Departments, ensuring business readiness and organisational change plans are suited to customers needs.
Skills and experience required;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience project management, with a focus on Business improvement related projects.
- Proven experience in managing projects involving significant organisational change.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
- Drivers Licence Class C Unrestricted
Preferred qualifications/certifications:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent Agile qualifications preferred.
