Project Manager - Capital Works

• Lead the concept development, design, tendering, and construction processes for capital work projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes, guidelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage the delivery of construction and fit-out projects, including new facilities, refurbishments, and upgrades.
• Oversee projects across all stages of the construction cycle, from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with consultant teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Manage both live/occupied sites projects effectively.
• Assess tenders and respond accordingly.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Provide regular progress reports and updates.
• Utilise excellent organisational and report writing skills.
• Preferably have experience in both construction/contractor and client-side project management.

What you'll need to succeed:

Hold a degree in a relevant area such as building, engineering, architecture, construction management, or construction engineering, or possess equivalent demonstrated work experience.

Demonstrate in-depth experience managing construction projects across all stages of the construction cycle, preferably including both new builds and refurbishments.

Possess the ability to lead and manage consultant teams effectively.

Exhibit well-developed stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrate expertise in tender assessment and response.

Possess excellent organisational and report writing skills.

Previous local or state government experience is desirable
